I initially selected this book based only on its setting. I was surprised to find that I really liked the mystery. A newspaper reporter is invited to write a biography for a famously reclusive author. She goes to Captiva and mets the author. The writer has other issues taking place in her life, but her new friendship with the elderly author provides the guidance she needs to overcome them.
