Not since the Microwave Cookbook of Desserts has an appliance-specific cookbook been as specific as The Blender Way to Better Cooking, a blender-specific cookbook that the golden sticker on the cover assures me is "The MOST COMPLETE Blender COOKBOOK ever written." How can you beat that? You won't have to beat it, because you'll be BLENDING IT!

After the eight-page introduction and refresher course on blender basics, you're off to an amazing array of chapters dedicated to the fine art of blender cooking, covering all of the meals from Breakfast to after Breakfast.

For those unfamiliar with pre-eighties cooking, brace yourself for the "All Kinds of Salads" section, as at least a third of the "salads" included in this recipe book hearken back to a time when random processed food items encased in a gelatin mold were referred to as salads. Ever wanted to eat eggs, asparagus, and jello at the same time? Enjoy slicing chicken salad like it was a runny cheese? Welcome to the best in gelatin salad blender wizardry that 1965 had to offer!

Also be sure to check out the chapter on preparing "Glamorized Cheese and Egg Dishes," and be a bit forgiving when you open to the desserts section to not only find it titled "Happy Endings," but with the first page full of whipped cream recipes. But by the time you're finished with this cookbook, all of your endings will be happy, and BLENDED!
