This book is perfect for someone who is an older teen, in college or university, or is finally into the adult stages of their lives. I couldn't help but feel a strong connection to this book since I have been in university and have seen the realism of the party scene in Canada.

This book was fabulous and I could not put it down! Following Alexis and her crazy love life between Dylan (her high school sweetheart who cheated on her) and Luc (a new suspicious fellow) was an amazing ride. The relationships were realistic, and the character development of Alexis and everything she has been through seemed so real. I couldn't see a single plot point wrong with the characters!

The book does feature some graphic sex, a few abuse scenes and lots of drinking and alcohol. Perhaps this book should be rated at least 14A if it were a movie, but it was very great! I'm looking forward to reading the next book as soon as possible. Hopefully I can get my hands on a copy!

The problems I had with the book, which are few and far between, are as follows: A few times the paragraphs were randomly separated when there wasn't an end of the sentence. Maybe I had an ARC, but I wasn't sure. Either way, it was a small annoyance that confused me. My second critique is that the book ended on the high climax of the story. Luckily, this book has a sequel so the story will continue, but having all the action happen in the last few pages without at least some form of closure made me rather annoyed! Since there is a sequel that will hopefully have closure, this isn't a major problem, it's more of an annoyance as well.

Overall, I really enjoyed the book. I could barely put it down and I want the sequel right now! There were no major problems with plot or characters, and I found it to be very realistic of today's University/College society.

I received this book for free through Goodreads First Reads.

Okay this book was so predictable except for the twist which was predictable PLUS ludicrous. There are a couple of good reviews that explain the ridiculousness so I won’t go into it in detail. Suffice it to say, there is no way you wouldn’t recognize your husband in the case as presented. Hmm, maybe this author is not for me.

This book surprised me. I would definitely say that it is more suspense than romance. Yet, it kept me focused as I tried to see how this story played it. The author did a great job keeping the intrigue and story progressing to keep the audience sucked in.

I didn't enjoy this book as much as the first one, even that one could be tedious too. I had thought that Sloane would have been a strong woman but she shocked the heck out of me in this book, she just let Oli do whatever the heck he wanted..Ohhhh I had gotten mad. I understand that she went thru tragedy but have some respect for yourself..I am glad that Oli finally got a clue, but I would have knocked him out at the beginning.
