"A Dog's Life" is a photo album for dogs. Each page has a small pocket (or sleeve) that will hold a 5.5"x4" picture (if you do the math, that's 12 pages x 1 photo per page - so this album holds a grand total of 12 pictures!). The page is twice that size, though, so underneath each picture is a large space to record details such as the time and place it was taken.
Every page features different graphics with a theme, such as "Lazy Dog" or "Hot Dog". The background colors are attractive, but the graphics are boring and unoriginal.
The book is spiral-bound at the top. The last page consists of a thick foldout stand, so that you can stand the album upright and use it like a photo frame to display your pictures. It's a cute idea, but the graphics are so tacky and horrendous that there's no way I'd prop this monstrosity up on my desk! The album comes in a cute matching case that Velcro's shut. Another nice idea - the only reason I gave this album two stars instead of one.
The feline version of "A Dog's Life" is "Nine Lives: A Cat Photo Memory Album", also by Havoc Publishing. "A Dog's Life" was so horrible that I didn't dare try out "Nine Lives", though I do have a cat.
Don't waste your money, folks - there are better animal photo albums out there!
