Well I loved this cliche of a story because the two main characters had a relationship/friendship/chemistry that defied it all. It’s an angsty read but filled with such emotion and the main characters have such a bond that the angst is something that can be a minor thing. I highly recommend this read and I seriously enjoyed this book.

I was immediately interested in this book when I read that it was a rock star romance. Though I'll admit, it wasn't the best I've read. It was still pretty decent, though. It held my attention pretty well, and it wasn't too over the top.

There was a lot of sexual tension and thoughts in it, but again, it wasn't too bad. Some of it felt out of place at times, but otherwise it was fairly tame.

The character's were hit or miss. Dean felt like your stereotypical rock star, which usually doesn't bother me, but with him, I just couldn't focus on much but his personality. I do think he could be a bit overly-sexual, but I really like how it played into his redemption at the end.

I liked Blair, but I couldn't help but love Maddie more. I'm not sure what it was about her, but she was probably my favorite character. I would have liked to see more of her, especially more of her friendship with Blair. I also really loved most of the other supporting characters, particularly Clarence.

The storyline itself was interesting. It was a nice difference from most rock star romances, and the twists scattered throughout the book were interesting yet not overwhelming. They weren't introduced too closely together, so nothing was truly confusing.

The ending was really sweet, and I think it may have been my favorite part. I liked the change of perspective from Blair and Dean to Maddie, and it got me excited for a possible next book for her (though I'm not sure this is happening; it just ended on the cliffhanger).

Overall, I think it was a good book. I'm looking forward to checking more of Ryleigh Sloan's books out as soon as I possibly can. I would suggest reading this book if sexual thoughts/actions/scenes don't bother you.
