This was an entertaining mystery. Max Lovely is an ex-policeman turned private detective. He has been hired to find the estranged husband of Jaimee Kantor but, of course, it is more than a missing persons case and the first (unexpected) murder takes place in the first few pages. Suspects include lawyers, politicians, mobsters and other assorted low lifes around Boston. Max makes for an appealing detective and he has some interesting side kick helpers that it would have been nice to see more of. An enjoyable and worthwhile read.… (plus d'informations)
