When Jesus attended Levi's party, it radically changed Levi's life--and He will do the same for you
Our Lord cares for the whole of this wounded and struggling world. His people should do the same. Our concern is not attracting an audience but nurturing faithful disciples who need to gather together as Christ's body (Heb. 10:24-25) and express their love of the Lord.

Paul seems baffled as to why anyone would turn away from good news. What we need is the plain gospel of Jesus Christ, kept intact and rightly expounded in our age and every age. On the cross, God has definitively invaded our world; on the cross, God has astonishingly set things right and set a captive humanity free. The gospel is easy enough to be avaliable to the worst, most broken most helpless sinner
