Martha Esposito Shea (–2021)

She worked at the Burlington County Times for more than 30 years and was always ready to do whatever the paper needed. She started out as a staff writer, and later became the editor of the Outlook section, that told the best feature stories in Burlington County.

Later, she became the assistant managing editor where she ran the news section of the BCT.

She ended her career as the Features Editor for the BCT, as well as the Bucks County Courier Times and The Intelligencer.

She did wonderful things as an animal advocate too.

She would volunteer her time at events, and would be at just about any event at the Burlington County Animal Shelter, a place she adored. Esposito also loved Mount Laurel Animal Hospital. She grew so close to the facility that she ended up working as a freelancer for the hospital, helping with marketing.

In between all that, she found time to pen several books on the history of South Jersey.
