A quickly moving story about a girl with special abilities. As the story progresses through her losing her Mother, becoming adopted, and finding out about life as a family member, Maggie learns that she is different. There are so many events that happen to her that the reader is almost left hanging at the end wondering who really are the good people. Curious about where the series will take Maggie and her boyfriend, Peter next.

Excellent Book From First Time Author

Jadoo is an excellent starter for Missy Marianne Sevier's Jadoo Series of books. Mystery, Suspense, And Youthful, this book is a must read for fiction lovers. Great for young adults and adults alike. This series could be the next big thing commercially similar to the Twilight Saga, Harry Potter, or the Lord of the Rings. I can't wait for volume two.

Highly recommended.
