Free on Kindle. Could be spoilers. I enjoyed most of this. It was fun to read about the UP. The plot didn't hold together all that well. The tone was pretty good. The things that bothered me the most were: OK, so the guy is 10 years younger than her & a hunk. Why not have him be an ordinary guy and have her explore an attraction based on something other than looks? She is so smart & witty, why not have the attraction be his mind & his experience; maybe even have her have to build up to the affection? That would fit the lead character better, and give the reader more to identify with & enjoy. And the sister. The sister shows up & the plot just continues.... I know the sister is a device to build another book around the search for the nephew, but she wouldn't show up on the doorstep & then vanish until it is convenient for the plot to have her taken to the hospital. And also, the story didn't make sense, why didn't the bad guys act more actively? Why couldn't these world-class criminals accomplish burning down her cabin, or killing her? And I was really glad the animals didn't get hurt.… (plus d'informations)
