Schenk (read May 30, 2001) This is really quite a good book, not too heavy and discussing not over-exhaustingly a host of interesting people like Chateaubriand, Coleridge, Lenau (an interesting Austrian poet who was not very familiar to me but who seems like some one I'd like to know more about), Goya, George Sand, Byron, Lizst, Neitzsche, Wagner, and others. An interest stimulator in a lot of things.
