Como profesora sufí­, Cemalnur Sargut tiene un público leal y activo en todo el mundo, especialmente en Turquí­a. Su carrera como académica y lí­der sufí­ representa un importante estudio de caso en la dinámica del sufismo global contemporáneo. Este volumen representa el primer texto en la traducción al inglés que reúne algunos de sus principales discursos y enseñanzas tal como se presentan a sus alumnos a través del género de los discursos orales. Más especí­ficamente, los discursos que forman el núcleo de este libro fueron recopilados a través de entrevistas orales con Cemalnur conducidas por sus estudiantes como parte de un programa semanal emitido en una estación de radio nacional turca. La transcripción original turca en la que se basa esta traducción en inglés se titula Dinle (Listen), y fue publicada en 2012 por Nefes Press. Cemalnur ha estado entrenando activamente a los discí­pulos y estudiantes en las enseñanzas y prácticas de la orden Rifa'i Sufi durante los últimos cuarenta años. Si bien sus discursos orales y escritos están ampliamente disponibles en turco, hasta ahora han permanecido inaccesibles para una audiencia en inglés. - As a female Sufi teacher, Cemalnur Sargut commands a loyal and active worldwide following, especially in Turkey. Her career as a scholar and Sufi leader represents an important case study in the dynamics of contemporary global Sufism. This volume represents the first text in English translation that brings together some of her major discourses and teachings as presented to her students through the genre of oral discourses. More specifically, the discourses that form the core of this book were collected through oral interviews with Cemalnur conducted by her students as part of a weekly program aired on a national Turkish radio station. The original Turkish transcription on which this English translation is based is titled Dinle (Listen), and was published in 2012 by Nefes Press. Cemalnur has been actively training disciples and students in the teachings and practices of the Rifa'i Sufi order for the last forty years.
