Camila the Record-breaking Star (Camila the Star) par Alicia Salazar
This is a super early chapter book at Camila who wants to be a star and be in a magazine. She decides all she needs to do is set some sort of record. Her record of choice: the youngest person to hit 1000 listens on Song Cloud. She has moments of self doubt, but she succeeds in her goal and gets to be the star she always wanted. I can see girls getting into this story, and my nephew begging me not to have to read it. But as an adult, I want to know who she got those 1200 downloads. All in all, a nice read, but no real staying power.
