This book introduces rain using questions. Then moves into an experiment that explores how rain works. I did not find this book very engaging for kids. There were some text features that were similar to those of informational text. I liked that this book had an experiment that children could try at home. This book was geared towards younger children. This book could be paired with the experiment that is introduced in the book. This book includes the materials you need and includes the procedure. Within the book the vocabulary is in bold. This would be a great way to teach students the vocabulary words with in this book that correlates with the water cycle. Overall, this book could be a great resource if you were doing the experiment within the book.
