This novel is better suited to a younger audience, but is still enjoyable for adults. It could use a bit more editing, but overall it was a fun, fast-paced adventure. I look forward to the sequel!

A wonderful "Boys Own" story about a school boy, Felix Jones, who is entrusted with a mysterious book titled"The Book of Words", by his Geography teacher Mr. Law nicknamed The Sheriff, before he is killed by some leather clad Monks.
This is an exciting tale of time travel and danger.
An enthralling novel for children and adults alike.
I enjoyed reading it very much. I will also read many more in this series.
