I am happy to have come across this book. From the moment I started reading it, I was hooked. It was full of excitement, I mean really, it is as if the entire book is compiled of only the excuting part of a much bigger more satisgying novel. I enjoyed it nonetheless; this and a few misplaced punctuation is why it is not getting a 5 star from me.
I like how the author writes very little about each characters history yet is able to express so much about them. Another aspect I like about this book is how so many different ideas merge together so fast and it does so without seeming forced.

what I mean when I say too exciting:
When the grandfather vanishes, not a moment to explore feelings. I felt that was missing. Similarly, the moment when the protagonist is deemed worthy in the test by the wolf, nothing about the test was writter. That I felt was an important moment.
