Could've used another proof-reading pass (or two); quite a few textual errors that should have been caught and corrected. The artwork is very evocative, though I wish the artist had been willing or able to capture the actors' likenesses more consistently.½

Loved the film. Loved the novel at least as much. Was interesting to hear Michael Myers' thoughts and the odd memory of him as a child. I wasn't so keen on the little explanation at the beginning about the curse in ancient times and so on, it felt a bit unnecessary and I would've preferred the author to have left it out completely.

Very good, which is probably not something that's said too often about novelisations.

This is without a doubt my favorite movie. I have seen it hundreds of times and will watch it a thousand more, lol. I found this book at a little shop in georgia and read it. It adds a lot to the origins of Michael Meyers and to the story in general. I loved it, lol. And keep it by my copy of the DVD.
