Hmm.. I dont know about this one. I don't even know where to begin with this book. This was definitely way different than what I normally read. The secrets are deep and the twists are unpredictable. The mystery is slow to revel itself but it is a ride that you want to take. This was such an unusual and original story that I was immediately addicted.

This story is told in a unique fashion. The characters in this story have many deep, dark secrets; secrets full of violence, death and illicit acts. It has flashbacks between the past and the present; all while weaving together this amazing story. A great story but not something I'm used to. Definitely recommend it though.

Woah.

I haven't read many dark romances or thriller type books. Honestly, this was the darkest, most twisted story that I've ever read. Not sure how I feel about it. I liked it and I didnt. I felt like the story needed something...I did however like the writing style & thought the story was very well developed.

I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

The author was skillful in the way she wrote this story, the tale of an abused woman turned serial killer. Her victim of choice? Sexual predators. The abuse is very easy to see in the MCs mind and that’s what made it such a compelling read as we see her stalk her next victim, her biggest challenge yet.

This book is twisted and dark so if your stomach turns easily, this is not the story for you.

Dark, twisted, and suspenseful, Loved by a Killer combines vampires with Jack the Ripper. This story tells the story of Raina, a London dancer, who gets caught up into the world of Marcus, a vampire who believes Raina has a lingering essence of his long lost wife. At first, Raina is enthralled by the belief that she has his attention but when she begins to lose everything, she realizes just how much trouble she’s gotten herself into.

I loved just how the story was written. It switches point of view from third person to first person and usually, that kind of thing would distract me from the story but Rabbiosi did it perfectly! It helps to not only further character development but builds suspense and makes this book impossible to set down.

Serial Murderess Series

so I'm going to do things a bit different here and review all three books in the Serial Murderess Series together but giving my brief impression on each instalment.
So I'm not normally one for trigger warnings but with this, you need one; this is dark depraved sick stuff proceed with caution.
If like me that sentence is like honey to a bee just be aware that at times this was even a bit too much for me and that's something I don't usually say.
There is Rape, murder, torture, necrophilia, cannibalism the list goes on and on so please do take my warning seriously there is the blackest stuff imaginable between these pages.
So this is a hard one, on the one hand, I love to push the boundaries of my tolerances, but here I wasn't just giving them a nudge I was flat out annihilating and totally flattening everything in its path.
So If you want to just dip your toe into darker waters this isn't the series to start with; this is completely hardcore.
This series is mainly told from the POV of Faith herself a product of her horrific life experiences in her case a history of rape, torture and slavery.
This girl has some serious issues which have resulted in her fascination with blood and death.
She's a self-made serial killer who preys on the predators themselves.
Her moral compass is so off course when it comes to dispensing her own personal brand of justice.
So what happens when this necrophilia loving serial killer meets what could be her match made in heaven.
I'm gonna stop you right there; this is not a romance; this is so far from the warm and fuzzies than your ever going to get; Brandon the male interest here, is so not what I would even label; what we like to call an anti-hero.
This is more a psychotic bloody Bonnie and Clyde type journey cross country where Faith and Brandon embark on an all-out pilgrimage to annihilate every person that has ever hurt Faith in the most imaginative ways possible.
The go-to phrase these two start to employ.

This is going to be the most fun we've had yet

But this is also a downward spiral into the Pitts of insanity and what happens when you give your demons such a free rein.

The Darkness in Faith
is the onset of the journey where we learn what shapes our two lovers into the individuals they have evolved into.
This is perhaps the mildest of the three books almost a build up to more gruesome events.
It's still bloody graphic as hell though so be prepared for anything.
In This instalment, we leave Brandon and Faith ready for there mission ahead.

Darkly Dreaming Faith
Portrays there antics as each kill goes down more each imaginative than the last.
Brandon and Faith fall deeper down the rabbit hole with each occurrence sending Brandon on a downward spiral into insanity.
In fact, here it becomes very apparent that Brandon is so much more than he has previously revealed to his new partner in death.
Finally culminating in Faith through self-preservation contemplating going rogue on his butt.

Vicious Faith
The final book in the trilogy and perhaps the most graphic and depraved of all three.
Here all roads come to a head and number five on Faiths list "Gas Mask" in dramatic style manages to turn the tables on Faith.
This was my favourite of the three books and though there where things I had kinda guessed previously here; there were still many shocks that snuck up and caught me unawares.
I adored the shocking conclusion we were given here.
It had an almost karmic justice to it.
Here is where we discover that there are no heroes only predators and events do come full circle in such a shocking finale.

This is not a romance.
There are no heroes in this trilogy only innocents and evil.
This was not easy reading at times but I persevered as I wanted to know the final outcome.
My rating here really reflects my unease with the content matter involved.
"The serial Murderess series" itself really pushed the envelope with me in regards to my comfort levels.
It's an unapologetic jaunt through a dissolute and perverted playground.
Where everything good and wholesome has been stripped back to the bone and the only thing left behind is viciousness and cruelty.
Enter if you dare but be warned the passage your about to traverse is anything but pretty.
The road ahead of you is paved in blood and tears.
I'm not going to give this a yay or a nay just a give this a go if you think you can handle it and prepare to be appaled.
And again remember my original caution.
Thank you to the author for providing me with an ARC of "Serial Murderess Series" of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions are entirely my own.

"Love Me Violently" is a completely out there erotic horror at its most graphic.
I would struggle to put the label romance on this as it didn't really feel romantic to me: more of an obsessive one-way journey and celebration of depravity and need.
This is one story that is bound to push your limits and then some.
I did enjoy this but again my final rating reflects my obliterated personal boundaries: please do know your limits here as this is not beginners stuff at all.
This story centres around our main character Dawn who through her own adolescent experiences develops a penchant for all that is dark and depraved.
With a violent introduction to her emerging libido her early experiences have managed to shape dawns budding sexual awakenings into something twisted and unique.
This really was a compelling visual of degeneracy but was surprisingly equally as sensual as it was shocking.
The contrast between the two sentiments bringing forth such stunning optical delights.
So yeh this was a vivid portrayal of erotic horror at its finest and for myself, I would have rated this a tad higher with an alternate outcome: and I'm not on about a fluffy kitten ending far from it just I would have liked a finale where maybe the dark wins totally.
Hard to explain without letting the cat out of the bag but even nefarious night demons deserve their version of the fairy tale: I'm all for equality and all that jazz.
So yeh, read this if you want your boundaries stretched and also if you have the balls.

This is my favourite story to date of this authors work.
An unapologetic journey of wickedness and depravity that took me down a rabbit hole with its amoral abandonment of all things virtuous.
A savage story of perversion and criminality but with an almost sinful sensuality about it.
This is not a story of riotous redemption: where an immoral anti-hero realises the wrongness of there actions and is saved by the love of a decent woman.
This is the exact opposite where the very players themselves revel in their perversities.
They say there's someone out there for everyone and here a serial killer gets to meet there destiny.
This was a really different read and there's so much more going on here than actually meets the eye.
Shocked me sideways a bit that one and totally didn't see it coming at all.
And I know I have said this before but know your limits disclaimers are there for a reason
If you are easily shocked and offended then this is probably not the story for you.
I now am more than ready for the next book in this very different series a thumbs up from me.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of A Serial Killer's Desire.
All opinions expressed here are entirely my own.

What would it be like to match a serial killer and be able to not surrender to the Stockholm Syndrome? Although I'm not a fan of the dark erotica genre, I gave this plot a try. Meet Jynn, Antone and his brother Devon in a bizarre twist of fate where sexual desires may turn into demonized cannibalism, and moans to love someone to death can become the literal outcome of role-playing.

Rabbiosi gives the three characters enough body (pun intended) and sparks the conversations to make A Serial Killer's Desire worth reading until the end. The countless explicit scenes are alternated with flash-backs to previous killings. Chapters have either Jynn or Antone as protagonist giving the reader the possibility to relate to both points of view along the exciting days in Antone's apartment with ocean view in California.

A Serial Killer’s Desire by C.F. Rabbiosi
Book 1 (Obsession is book 2)

Sick…that is what I said to myself as I read the last of this story. I found the story well written in a dark gritty rather disturbing way. Jynn finds herself with a serial killer but over time rather into Antone although his brother Devon is there from time to time trying to talk her into getting away from the inevitable death she faces if she stays with Antone. I really can’t say much about the story as it would give the storyline away. I will say the story included pain, suffering, blood, bondage, sadism, psychological manipulation, twisted thinking… it was different and left me wondering how many people in the world are really like those portrayed in this story.

Thank you to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the ARC – This is my honest review.
