Well... We tried to read this book. However it seems that the book was at the Dollar Tree because the outside doesn't match the insides. There was not able to be found in this book. I believe what we actually read was nighty night. Still a cute book either way goes. Love the little Sesame Street characters.

With "Mother Goose" edited by Bendon, children can read all the nursery rhymes that have been passed down through many years. In this book, there are many rhymes that have anthropomorphisms, whether that be lion, or the make believe unicorn. I would use this book with kindergartners, to get them acquainted with rhyming. In a lesson I would have them give examples of their own rhymes based on these nursery rhymes.

This book was based on many forest animals. The book also illustrated the habitat the animals live in. The diction in the book is very simple for young readers to understand. All the pictures within the book are realistic pictures of the animals.

Star Wars. It's everywhere. And my little girl can't get enough!

This novelty book has no spoilers, so don't rush out to grab it, but it does have some good lineart for classic Star Wars ships and droids, as well as a few of the new ones.

This book is my daughter's favorite right now, and will keep her occupied for quite a while as she practices manual dexterity and I write and surf the internet. Total win!

“Wolves” is a book informing students on different types of wolves, their characteristics, and the importance of preserving this species. The author clearly believes that the wolf is a beautiful creature that is very intelligent, and an awesome hunter. This text gives the reader a greater understanding and respect for wolves. The author uses many adjectives to describe this animal such as intelligent, amazing, and strong allowing the reader to realize that the wolf is in fact a beautiful and powerful creature. People need to become more aware of the extinction of wolves, seeing as the number of wolves has reduced drastically due to hunting. This book was very informative and discussed the many different species of wolves as well as the development of pups to adult wolves. After reading this book one is able to gain more insight on wolves and their difficult lives.

It has clear photos of items starting with the letter at hand. Some of the items could have been better thought out. "P" includes a python which for the age this book is intended is merely confusing since most children would identify it as a "snake." There are a few of these ambiguous items i.e. the letter "I" shows a large beetle and a bottle of spilled ink. It is supposed to be insect and ink, neither of which would be familiar to most pre-schoolers. Children will need an adult companion to get the most out of this flawed book.
