J. Kent Preyer

This book is what they call in the south "slap yo' mama " good! (don't know why mama and slapping her are involved but i hear it a lot)
As you can tell from the title it takes place in TN and involves two well-known families.

I WILL be in line when the movie is made, because J.Kent Preyer has created characters that pop off the page. Your eyes will not be able to gobble up the words fast enough! The storyline is a good one...two families with a not-so-distant past connection, are forced to come together for their sons. I'll leave it at that...

It's a hoot. There are scenes that will make you laugh out loud. And yet.. there is an underlying seriousness, a deeper message about love, really. And family. And what TRULY matters in life.
