- E-mail from MP#1:
Yes, all three authors (Borton, Harper, Prescott) are me.
I started off writing horror novels under my real name, Douglas Borton. When the publisher decided I'd be better off writing psychological suspense, they wanted to reinvent me, so I came up with the pseudonym Brian Harper. Later, when the sales of that Harper books declined, I had to reinvent myself yet again, as Michael Prescott. The Prescott name was the most successful of the three, so it's the one that I now use for all my books.
And there's also Owen Fusterbuster … author of Die Stupid, a farcical send-up of the thriller genre. That's me, too! Originally I put out the book (in digital form) under the Prescott name, but my fans were extremely unhappy about it, so I reissued it under a really dumb pseudonym.
The five Borton books are Manstopper, Dreamhouse, Deathsong, Kane, and Shadow Dance (in that order). The rest of my books are listed in chronological order on the right-hand sidebar of the homepage of my website, Michael Prescott.net.
I hope this helps.
Best,
Doug/Brian/Michael/Owen

Now it might seem that with all these complaints I didn't enjoy the book, which couldn't be further from the truth. It was a very enjoyable read, and I always wanted to keep going to know what would happen next. The complaints are pretty minor, and if you don't get "creeped out" to easily, this book is a fun read. Oh yeah, that was another thing, this author also seemed to be trying to go heavy on the "creep out" factor. Again I didn't mind to much, but sometimes it feels like the authors try to pack it in as much as they can just for the heck of it.… (plus d'informations)
