Cleveland: Confused City on a Seesaw par Philip W. Porter
This is a well-written synopsis of the political history of Cleveland from the 1920's into the 1970's. It discusses the roots of the Glenville and Hough riots of the 1960's and the disaster of Erieview. The book predates Kucinich and default, but both are predicable after reading Porter's work. Sadly, I believe Philip Porter and his wife were murdered by robbers in their Shaker Height home in the 1980's.
