This is a black and whit photography book that depicts the scenery and people of the windward and leeward islands of the Ntetherlands Antilles. It shows the monuments, schools, airports, ports, oil refinerries, fisheries and the different people while at work or leisure on the islands. It gives a very nice overview of life on the islands before tourism was introduced in the late 1950s.
