Charlotte Perriand was born in Paris in 1903. Her work was shown in various international exhibitions in Paris in the mid 1920s, unusual for a young designer and even more unusual for a woman. After working with Le Corbusier for 10 years, she went on to work individually and in collaboration with afficher plus other architects (Pierre Jeanneret, Paul Nelson, Jean Prouve) on architectural projects, furniture, and exhibitions. A life of creation : an autobiography par Charlotte Perriand
Very interesting life but very but told as a chain of anecdotes. She deserves a better monography which looks more intensely in the designs and her life is material for a novel
