Lilah Morton Pengra

Lilah Morton Pengra, Ph.D., Cultural Specialist, Multicultural Consulting Services, Post Office Box 126, Buffalo Gap, SD 57722 Dr. Pengra earned her doctorate in anthropology in 1975 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with special interest areas in sociolinguistics and American ethnic afficher plus groups. She has taught anthropology for South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and transcultural nursing for South Dakota State University. Her practice of anthropology in the human services included 5 years as the director of an agency serving adults with developmental disabilities. Dr. Pengra works as a cultural specialist. Her activities include giving workshops to promote multicultural competence, consulting with teams to design assessments for specific cultural differences, and assisting agencies to develop cultural diversity policies and procedures. afficher moins
