Read this in high school 42 years ago. I don't remember much about it, but I do remember loving it, and it made a big impact on how I looked at life at the time.

I remember reading this in grade school more than once and crying each time. It's wonderfully written.

Amazing book. It's a great story and there is a great lesson behind it. It was a "Summer reading" book that I was required to read for school. There were a few other choices, but I'm very glad that I chose this one. At first I didn't seem interested because I thought it was mainly about football. it's not. I would definitely recommend that you read it!
