While the idea of the overall story is good, the use of the English language is a bit over-used and the author tends to make giant leaps of storyline.

Two boys and an autistic girl find an underground bunker by accident. It is found to be the hiding place of a man and his daughter who do not want to get mixed up in WWII. The man longs for Japan to be brought down, but doesn't feel now is the time. So he hides underground waiting for the time when he can re-emerge and be victorious. This is never to be.
