A great introduction to the ways racism functions, especially in a Dutch context. This introduced me to a few Netherlands-specific elements that I hadn’t been aware of (eg Keti Koti, the neo-colonialism in Bonaire) and I will be reading up more. Each chapter also ends with an amazing list of further resources to learn more about each topic.

Edit: a quick note to add that this book also read very much like an introduction to racism (and it’s also definitely profiled as such) so beyond the vocabulary and info specific to the Netherlands you might not gain much if you’re already familiar with the workings.
