Helen Snell Neumeyer

One of the few places where you can find David McPhail's wonderful illustrations for the story "The Peddler and His Caps." The colors are magnificent and the drawings are as cute as can be. I enjoy it more then Esphyr Slobodkina's "Caps for Sale" (which is basically the same story). The book also contains straight re-prints of Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit, Johnny Crow's Garden illustrated by L. Leslie Brooke and more treasures.
