Amazon sent me this title in an email, the book was short, and the price of zero was right. But really I think I got what I paid for.

Three things come across in the title - 'Feminist', 'Suspense', and 'Boko Harem' and really I don't think meets any of these. I suppose she is a feminist but nothing particularly strongly or well developed in the book in this regard. Plus suspense? Things happen in the book but there's not much of a plot to keep you guessing or throw you off kilter. Finally, while the dreaded Boko make an appearance it's not at all well developed or explained.

Most is set in Africa but to me there's not much of relevant atmosphere in that regard. Mystifyingly, I think the author refers to Dutch, as knowing a lot from their African background. Eh? Apart from a few Boers in the Cape 500 years back this beats me.

Maybe the book should have been longer. Maybe.… (plus d'informations)
