This book was very informative, and was very kid friendly. It was designed in a way that could easily be used for both individual and group readings. This book gave factual information about multiple different amphibians and reptiles. There was no plot line. Each page introduced a new reptile or amphibian through short text blocks, graphics and charts. (Informational)

Essentially, a brightly coloured loose-leaf personal organiser with a Pokemon theme. The only significant text is on a few pages of profiles of trainers and selected Pokemon. A sticker chart forms a personal Pokedex and there are dividers behind which to insert the four separate Funfax Pokemon books.

An information book about reptiles and amphibians that is well designed. Each page includes many details about the reptile or amphibian.

Classroom connections: When teaching about reptiles and amphibians this would be a wonderful book to keep in the classroom for students to reference. There are many facts and this could be a good beginning research book.
