This book is beautifully written, and so fun to read since I lived in the area the book describes. I loved Kyle's (the main character) experiences of the realities of Montana in comparison to his fantasized version of the state. While it's a YA novel, the prose doesn't read like a typical YA book which was nice for a change. I would definitely recommend this to young male readers who like the outdoors and a bit of a challenge when it comes to reading.
