J. Edward Moseley

The author did a fine job with this work of religious history. I particularly enjoyed chapter six, "The Ravages of War and Reconstruction, 1861-1870."

As a side note, I learned that John S. Raul, general evangelist of the Christian Restoration Association, during 1927-1929, was funding president of Northern Bible College, at Pierre, South Dakota (319).

Persons interested in learning more about the Stone-Campbell religious heritage are apt to find this book to be beneficial, as did I. The book is well-researched and documented. There is a useful bibliography and an excellent index.… (plus d'informations)
