What I liked about this book is that one of the MCs is very new to being in a kink community and new to being able to do kinky things. It was nice to see that journey - the excitement and nervous energy over finally getting to do something you've always wished to be able to do (this reminds me of Alexis Hall's book For Real). Also, and this is similar throughout all of Reese Morrison's books, the kink is not always a "sex thing." So, the kink happens outside of sex (and sometimes accompanies it) and it is such a refreshing take.

some content notes: hard kinks, misgendering (challenged), antisemitism, racism, ableism, explicit sexual content, difficult family dynamics

A heart-felt story about how non-linear grief is and the uncertainty of new relationships after a certain age. Marco is a Dom in his 30s who has been establishing his business and Greg - a sub in his 50s - has been mourning the death of his spouse and Dom. The dynamic between Marco and Greg was so interesting because their kinks didn't line up perfectly; it took time and a lot of work for them to find a way to connect - every step forward also saw some fumbling backward. I love how Reese Morrison writes kink so seeing a couple work out the kinks (lol) in their kink was refreshing. Although there was instant attraction, it was several months before this couple felt solid - which worked so well for their individual journeys.

CWs provided by author: This book contains hurt/comfort themes, predicament bondage, sounding, shibari, wax, and CNC role play, just to get started... and a HEA ending.

The characters in this story are a trans/masc couple, David and Nafalti. David is an accountant and a "baby" Daddy Dom who is anxious to learn everything about his kink. Naftali is a teacher and a submissive. The two guys meet at a rope workshop that Naftali was helping to run and are attracted to one another right off, but both have insecurities and are afraid that they won't "get it right". Both have recently come out of abusive relationships and are afraid to try another one so soon...especially Nafalti. David had booked a ski vacation before his break-up and still plans to go, and Naftali volunteers to go with him for the week and be his "boy" and hopefully learn more about one another. Along the way they also attended David's parent's anniversary party. I hated David's mother. She acted as if he was still his birth persona calling him Diana instead of David (deadnaming). The rest of the family was wonderful. The way these two supported each other was part of what made this story extra warm and special. Each of them had their own difficulty navigating the world, but neither of them ever got exasperated with the other. They were always asking “how can I support you right now?” The author made notes about the things that they were writing about which helped to explain what both characters had had in their individuals lives and what they were going through. That was helpful to understand them and others like them as individuals and their sexuality. You can't help but be glad that you got to know Davd and Nafalti, and it won't take long to become deeply attached to these sweet guys. I have a good friend who is trans, and I really appreciated that Reece Morrison didn't present these characters being trans as something that they owned others any explanation or apologies for, but something that made them happy and complete in themselves.½

It's a lovely, sweet M/M/M romance and it does have lots of kink. Reese Morrison is one of my favorite authors and I don't think there has been a single book that I didn't like. The only thing I found about this book, and it really isn't a complaint, was that it is really LONG... just shy of 500 pages. It seemed almost like the author didn't quite know how to end it...or maybe didn't want to. You just have to love the characters and their dynamics. Neil is so sweet that I just wanted to wrap him up and hug him. Jamie is fun, bright and so mischievous bringing a balance to the more stoic Sebastian, the "Daddy". The book as a whole is sweet and cuddly. There’s a little angst between the characters, but not so much that you don't know that it's going to work itself out. Sebastian and Jamie are the owners of the Meadowlark Retreat in the beautiful mountains of Oregon. Neil has come to spend a weekend as a guest at one of their kink weekends hoping to find a "Daddy" of his own. He caught both Sebastian and Jamie's eye right away and the fun begins. Neil, the tense older lawyer meets these two laid back owners, and he knows without a doubt that they are what he wants and needs...but is afraid he is too old and too inexperienced for them to be interested in him. This book is a part of a multi-author series called "Destination Daddies". The premise of the series is that users of a kinky dating app are signing up for singles meet-ups all over the country. (If you read any of the Naughty or Nice books at Christmastime, you’ll recognize it.) The individual books are all standalone stories, so you don’t have to read the others to read any of them. None of the 3 guys in this new relationship are "littles", but Jamie and Neil are both subs that seek domination. The only content note, other than the kink, that I think some might have a problem with is that Sebastian and Jamie have a committed relationship, but it is a polyamorous relationship. I know that that is not everybody’s cup of tea.½

4 stars for this sweet daddy kink read. Loved the concept, the Jewish theme running through and the characters.

Saul and Levi are different to Daddy/boy dynamic ive read before but they work so well.

But there self belief and doubts and strength together is perfectly written

This series the 3 books so far have 3 stars for me so my reviews will be similar.

I liked the romance side of the story with Zhong and Ash and I understand where the author was going with the ASL but I found I kept getting distracted from the romance by the ASL descriptions so felt like I kept getting thrown out of the story.

I enjoyed seeing Zhong with his lists slowly figuring out who he was and his connection ton Ash and being their Daddy/Handler.

This book definitely needs to be read with book 2. You need all the connections for it to really make sense.

I'm actually hoping the author takes it where I feel it is heading in Book 4.

This book as first in the series can be read as a stand alone.

I liked the romance side of the story with Dustin and Landon and I understand where the author was going with the ASL but I found I kept getting distracted from the romance by the ASL descriptions so felt like I kept getting thrown out of the story.

I enjoyed seeing Lena come out more as the book progressed and Dustin's growth as a Daddy the more he understood his and London's kinks.

This is can be read without reading book 1.

Intertwining love

The intertwining love, friendship and family between the 2 couples, 4 individuals, as they navigate becoming a foursome is beautifully written.

This is a wonderfully fitting end to this series!

This was... okay. I found parts to be too "cutesy" is the word that comes to mind.

Just doesn't live up to other books with robot/android characters that I've read.½

Cute story

Thus was a really sweet story. There were quite a few places where it should have said Julio but it said Taylor which was confusing. Good story overall.
