Jake Noble was ex-CIA, but currently living on his boat having a nice, quiet life. That was until he was asked to find a young woman who was kidnapped.

There was a problem with Jakes's last mission with the CIA. When he had to kill a diplomat, it made the Company look bad. They put the blame on Jake to save their own image. Years later he's got a new career as a marine photographer but just making ends meet. When the Company approaches him with another mission - to kind the kidnapped daughter of a diplomat, he has to agree because he needed the money for his sick mother. His search took him to the Philippines where he found sex trafficking, drug smuggling, and arms dealers.

This book gives us a look at the very real and sad look at human trafficking around the world. While it was very enlightening, I found it confusing. There were so many villains, that I couldn't keep them straight.

While this book wasn't for me, a lot of other reviewers loved it, so if you like thrillers in an international setting, give this a try.… (plus d'informations)
