This book is difficult to categorize . It is both a self-help book and looks at the wider world ( and universal ) view. It endeavours to move us away from dualism and is therefore not a spiritual book as that would create dualism but looks at the WHOLE of humanity inclusive of everything. Hence the title ' we are one'
