Meyerowitz' photojournalistic collection of the cleanup process after 9/11 is sobering, humanizing and powerful. It is important work.

This is a rather old book, but is very interesting to photographers as the film (oh yes, in the old days we used film) is balanced for indoor tungsten light, but he used it for outdoor pics.

Huge, heavy coffee table book with eye-catching photographs of the 9/11 devastation in New York City. Somehow, the photographer/author was able to gain access where no one else was allowed and his goal to catch history before it disappeared is commendable. If it weren't so tragic, I would say this book is beautiful.
