This book was written honestly. It does not give an overview of what happened to the Jews, it gives a personal account that does not try to be anything other than the truth. I applaud Henry Melnick's in sharing his unimaginable experiences. It is a story that must be retold countless times to show tolerance, and man's ability to lose all humility.
To say I enjoyed the book is not true, I felt the words from the page, and was glad I had read it.
