This is a very enjoyable children’s story appealing to young and old. Wonderful illustrations and a very nice theme. Maggie, an orphaned mouse, wants to fly. She is cared for by her friends the bats. In the end with the help of a feather her wish is granted. This book is a great gift for the holidays and a welcome reprieve to all the gory psychodramas that have come my way.

This book had pictures that would entertain a child. The pictures had many details that would help a child reread and find new items. The story was great. I would definitely share this with children. They would enjoy the story.
