- He attended Colorado State College and received degrees from Ozark Bible College, B.Th. Old Testament and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, M.A. (Greek) and MS/LIS. From 1970 – 1995 he preached for non-denominational Christian Churches and taught at Ozark Bible College, Mid-South Christian College, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. From 1995 – 2019 he worked in Information Technology. As of April 2019 he is Archival Associate with the Disciples of Christ Historical Society, Bethany, WV.
