I really enjoyed reading this story. It is the story of Gabriel. A ten year old boy who no longer believes in Santa because he just can’t understand why other kids get to have a bigger better Christmas than he does. He lives with his mother and while she tries to make Christmas a fun time for him all he can think of are things he would like and feels that his dad, living in the next town over, would be better able to give him. He runs away but doesn’t get too far before he is confronted by a pint sized elf and the most famous reindeer of all. What follows is a delightful spin on the classic Christmas Carol, with Gabriel learning that shiny and expensive doesn’t buy happiness.

I read this out loud for my family, a tradition that my son admits he has outgrown, but will “endure” just for me (insert winky face here). It was very much enjoyed. The book is dynamic and written in language appropriate for chapter readers.

Imaginative Short story!

Loved it. Christmas from the point of view of a 10 year old child. The journey the child takes as he realizes that Christmas isn't all about great and lavish presents, is amazing. The author was inspired by his son, and this story is inspirational to all parents who have children. I absolutely loved this story, and it is the hope that Santa, his elves, and reindeer are never truly forgotten.

Page turner from beginning to End

It starts out with "I Love You" and the perception of those three words and continues from there. A very interesting and compelling story from beginning to end. Kristy creates a new life for herself as Penny to get away from a dangerous past, and meets Z. It's an intriguing tale of romance and suspense as Kristy's former life threatens the life she has built with Z. I found the characters very likeable, and was definitely rooting for Kristy and Z, and the best relationships may have Love within them, but also trust and definitely each other. I didn't read the first book, "Greater Expectations" and I only got lost in the story, not missing the first volume. Highly recommended.… (plus d'informations)
