The 7th Day par Nika Lubitsch
The 7th Day. Nika Lubitsch. 2013. I enjoyed this short novel that was translated from German. The book opens with the narrator explaining that tomorrow will be the first day in court. She is on trial for the murder of her husband. We learn her story through flash-backs in which she explains how she ended up where she is. It is suspenseful. It is interesting to see how a trial is conducted in Germany and the other aspects of German culture are interesting too. I don’t think I’ve ever read a novel set in contemporary Germany.… (plus d'informations)
