Suicide Ride: The Platinum Man (Suicide Ride, #1) par E. Llewellyn
This series would simply have gone without ranking to my mm-not-for-me shelf, but then its author and a friend trolled into another reader's review... it wasn't a good play.

Marlobo | 4 autres critiques | Dec 24, 2022 | The blurb definitely stands out and grabs your attention. And then sucks your brains out. If that's the way the whole story is written, it deserves a solid negative one star. Too bad there is no such rating available:(
However, I heard that the book was written by a paranormal creature. A zombie or an ogre or a troll or some such, which explains the foul language, disjointed sentences and body parts with strange inclinations (ie eyes, grabbing for straws)...
So, what the hell, I'll throw in a star for the poor dear trying to censor herself and keeping the nastiest nasties out while writing the book, not that it was a total success.
There you go!
Oh, look! Turned out to be 4/5 of a star. Well, have no choice but to round it up to 1.
Looking for a cup of bleach for my brainz.
One star for the blurb and the first chapters.… (plus d'informations)

Mrella | 4 autres critiques | Mar 7, 2021 | This book is just as bad as the other one. Didn't even make it past the first chapter, it's actually worse reading that "prose" the second time around.

Mrella | 1 autre critique | Mar 7, 2021 | I went and grabbed a sample of this book because of all the 'snublicity' (not my word- but the author's) that I saw on Goodreads and the author's Facebook page.
I am glad that I did so and did not rush out to purchase because although I do enjoy well written romance, this was not the case. The author relies too much on description. There should be a balance between showing and telling, the emphasis being on showing, but the author goes too far. Everything is a simile. Not for me. I give it one and a half stars for the exaggerated similes.
In addition, I leave you with this screenshot of the author's FB page and her post about me to let you know what you are potentially facing if you leave a less than enthusiastic review (which has been reported officially, and has been taken down):
