Mega angst. Second chance romance.
Possibly unforgivable Alpha Hero.
Heroine has traumatic past that makes relationships and intimacy difficult for her.
Hero is a man whore type prior to the heroine.
He knows she is interested in him but flirts and 'sees' other women.
During separation he dates others with no commitment.
He is hurt by something he believes she has done. She did act stupidly but is not guilty of what the Hero thinks, he doesn't believe her. He is cruel to her but later, around 90%, he really grovels.
HEA.
Previous couples appear.
Breadcrumbs dropped for future books in series.
I think it is the best of the 3 in the series, esp if you are looking for lots of angst.

I enjoyed this book, not as much as the first one — something about Tony. Loved him/hated him. But overall, really liked the book.

I enjoyed reading Lexi, Baby by Lynda LeeAnne. This is the first book I've read by this author, decided to give it a chance based on recommendations from a book blog I am a member of. The story line is one that always appeals to me, I'm a sucker for the lost love and second chance love stories. I thought she did a great job with the plot, but there were times where the dialogue seems choppy and rushed. Overall, I thought the book was an enjoyable read and I would recommend it to others. I will be continuing on with the other books in the series, so the writing wasn't a show stopper for me.
Happy Reading... enjoy!

As soon as I finished the prologue I couldn't put it down! Landyn and Lexi have a very intense relationship at only eighteen and they make the mistake of letting outside influences get in the way of their happiness. They are surrounded by jealousy and a few haters for sure! Their story is full of secrets, betrayal and lot of smoking hot passion. Landyn is so sexy it's unreal but I'm not going to lie, I think that he's a little too intense for my taste, very borderline scary in terms of his possessiveness. It doesn't seem healthy to me but I guess it works for the story.I also do not agree with a lot of Lexi's decisions and the secrets she choose to keep. She was totally wrong! Overall, it was very entertaining, and I really enjoyed it.

Favorite line...

"Let's do the damn thing." - Lexi

I know what she means! LOL

This book was most definitely five stars for me because I have loved Adam since the very first book of the series. Adam is so passionate and such a dominant that he protects all the women in his life. All the women he cares about. And he doesn't take no for an answer.
I had to write the author and tell her that I'm so excited for the very next book. At the very end of Adam, enough said, I hope that the two people that are discussed at the party are the next book I think that would be absolutely wonderful.

Summertimes over so I won't call this a beach read. I would say this book is definitely one that you could curl up with a nice blanket some hot chocolate, apple cider, or smooth Scotch and enjoy the read.
