At the very beginning the author let us readers know that this will be an insta love novella because seh wanted to write something light and fun to read while we are all going through lately it would be nice change. I have to admit lately I have read a lot of angst lately so it was refreshing to have something sweet, fluffy to read. We start with Dante having a rough go with his nightclub so he goes for a drive to take his mind off things and ends up at Rocco's. As soon as he walks into the bar he is immediately drawn to Lily. They develop a very quick bond and a relationship that happens very fast. Lily has some self confidence issues, but yet she knows that her intense attraction and chemistry to Dante is undeniable. As they try to navigate a new relationship together they have figure out if they can work things out or if insecurities will derive them apart all while someone else wants them apart. I loved the friends that were like family dynamic and I loved Dante. I can't wait to read more from this author!!

Rockstar, age gap, romance yes please and I say this when age gap isn’t my number one go to choice but this one got me. Pen is a manager for a band, she works hard, takes her job very seriously her attraction to Walker is instantaneously yet with their age difference and her job this is a no go for her. If she was to ever act on her feelings it could end badly for her and not just in heartbreak but in losing her career. Walker is mature for his age and once he knows what he wants it seems as if nothing will stop hi at getting it, yet he wants Pen but doesn’t want to be the reason her life is upended. They go back and forth fighting attraction to sneaking around but can this actually turn into more or is this just a more time thing? I really enjoyed this read and the connection between characters.

There were elements of this story that were delicious and others that just didn't do much for me other than to make me roll my eyes. But the delicious parts kept me going. Off-topic, this might be one of the sexiest covers ever. Aesthetically stunning.

I have to say that I had several laughs with this story. The names of the dogs and Pria's experience with them were hilarious. I enjoyed the interactions with Pria and Kingston and felt their chemistry. Cute dialogue between them.

I did wish that there was further explanation into how they first met, as well as more about Murphy and Pria's father's reaction. I wanted that fleshed out more, especially, as this story did have a great foundation. It was a great addition to the Cocky Hero Club.

I received this book through a Goodreads giveaway.

Reading Unsteady in Love felt like witnessing a gruesome accident. I was unable to turn away because of a compulsive need to find out how it would end up-- all the while feeling a bit queasy over the whole sad situation. The characters at best are irritating and at worst completely unhealthy. The "big scenes" just made me laugh and roll my eyes at the shallow and trite and overly earnest euphemisms. Holden inspired no pity (he came across as a wretched d-bag) and Prue needed a backbone.

This was a sad story of redemption of finally getting a chance at something better. we have Bodhi that is living on the street that part broke my heart, but when he sees Coco crying he wants to make her feel better, and these two start a friendship and love affair you would have never thought of..

rcvd an ARc at no cost to author..(netgalley) Voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions
