Alfred Laula

A short history of the metre-gauge tram that runs up to the Pöstlingberg, a local vantage point, in Linz. It claims to be Europe's steepest railway operated by adhesion alone (11.6%), although some routes of the Lisbon tramway are steeper. The book pre-dates the line's conversion to 900mm gauge to integrate it with the rest of Linz's tramway system in 2008-09.
