William Kyle

Kyle’s reminiscences were collected and transcribed by Charles Daley and read to the Royal Historical Society of Victoria on 23 June 1923, and later published in 1925. On page 165, recalling some of the activities of indigenous people in the Melbourne area Kyle noted that “frequently a piece of opossum skin tied with sinews was used like a football”.
