**Review written for an originally posted on my blog, Book Bliss.I received this book in exchange for an unbiased and honest review**

Review: 2 stars

General: This is the first in a series and the overall idea for the book drew me in from the start. The characters had such amazing back stories there was so much potential.I thought the suspense element was nicely done as well as there being some truly original conversations throughout. This was a great example of an NA book versus a YA. The themes and concepts in this book were deep and dark, things traditionally not meant to be read by preteens and even 16 year olds depending on their personality. I liked being shown the backstory and not told it. However there were so many flips that it was actually too much as I was lost to the present accounts and sometimes had a little bit of trouble connecting what time frame I was in because the shifts were a bit abrupt.

The biggest flaw in the book was grammatical errors. I know there have been a few versions of this book and am uncertain if the corrections have been made. However I feel you should be putting the best possible copy out right away or taking a step back and fixing it first. Also, the characters were different based on POV. I loved that we had shifts in POV I find it essential to truly like a character. Personal perception is key of course, but the personal and external were so far apart I had to wonder why.

Characters: I am going to skip the character review for the simple reason that I am not certain which description of the characters was the real one. Both were very very well done, but due to such drastic shifts I don’t want to label them and give people improper perceptions.

This has to be one of the worst books I've read in a while. It started off as a murder mystery and then turned into a soft core porn novel and then back to a murder mystery. The transitions from past to present were awkward and the editing was abysmal. If you are going to self-publish, know this.....spell check is not your editing God! Find an unbiased, educated "first reader" to check for errors. This book was filled with them. I felt as if I were reading something from a teenage girl. Also, make sure your title has something to do with your book.… (plus d'informations)

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was a great book that grips the reader from the start and doesn't let go until the last word. The author does a great job with descriptions and the characters are relatable. I would definitely recommend this to others and I will be reading this again! Hope to read more from this author.

This was fast moving mystery with romance and a book I couldn't put down until the end. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
