This DVD was a surprise. The Stop-Motion animation was amazing and poetic. The story was riveting. The voices spot on.

A teenager fixes an old car which is a robot in disguise.

2.5/4 (Okay).

At no point in the making of this movie did anyone have a single original thought. But it steals from pretty good places, and has enough charm (the bare minimum) to get by.

A stunningly told epic fantasy of a young boy coming of age, and one of the best animated films I've ever seen. (- Loki)

Luscious art, exciting action scenes, some funny dialogue, some very lively origami figures. Also, some mushy philosophising. But on the whole, really enjoyable.

The opening sequence was cool and actually scary. Would have liked to have seen it on the big screen.
