This book was awful. Is it me? 1) I‘m not a man. Is sex all they think about even when a gruesome murder is to be solved? 2) I am not an FBI agent. But I do investigations as a lawyer, and I know not to ask a witness three questions at once without giving the witness a chance to answer even one. 3) do a detective and an FBI agent have no idea how to conduct professional, meaningful dialogue when they first meet? This is a murder mystery, that requires reading the entire trilogy. No thanks.

Being a fan of legal thrillers, I was disappointed that the entire trial was skipped and only the verdict was revealed.

The book offers no indication that the author has any specialized knowledge about being a detective or an FBI agent. This is a murder mystery, that requires reading the entire trilogy. I really love this series. Lots of suspense, however there is an almost overwhelming amount of bad language through out the books.
